Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery type cargo handling vehicle allowing easy visual observation of insertion holes formed in the outer surface of a vehicle body, and allowing easy insertion of a part of a battery carrier into the insertion holes.SOLUTION: A forklift truck includes: a battery storage part 15 storing a replaceable battery 16 inside a vehicle body 10; and an opening part 17 opening the battery storage part 15 outside the vehicle body 10. The forklift truck is formed with insertion holes 18 into which engagement parts 52 of a battery carrier 5 for carrying the battery 16 are inserted. The forklift truck also includes: mirrors 41 disposed above the opening part 17; and a movable part 42 rotating the mirrors 41 relatively to the vehicle body 10. The movable part 42 operates, so that the mirrors 41 project from the outer surface 10A formed with the insertion holes 18, and the forklift truck comes into a state that outer end parts 41B of the mirrors 41 are positioned upward and outside the vehicle body 10 compared to inner end parts 41A of the mirrors 41. 【課題】車体の外表面に設けられた挿入孔を容易に目視することができ、挿入孔にバッテリキャリアの一部を容易に挿し込むことができるバッテリ式荷役車両を提供する。【解決手段】フォークリフトは、交換可能なバッテリ16を車体10の内部において収容するバッテリ収容部15と、バッテリ収容部15を車体10の外部に開放する開放部17とを備え、開放部17の下方における車体10の外表面10Aに、バッテリ16を運搬するためのバッテリキャリア5の係合部52が挿し込まれる挿入孔18が設けられる。フォークリフトは、開放部17の上方に配置された鏡41と、車体10に対して鏡41を回動させる可動部42とをさらに備え、可動部42が動作することにより、挿入孔18が形成された外表面10Aから鏡41が突出し、かつ、鏡41の内側端部41Aに比べて、鏡41の外側端部41Bが上方かつ車体10の外方に位置する状態になる。【選択図】図3
