Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device that maximizes an energy recovery rate and reduces the operation cost of a plant, as the whole system, in the plant for subjecting sludge from a sewage treatment facility and organic waste such as food waste to incineration or gasification treatment.SOLUTION: An organic waste combustion plant includes: combustion means for organic waste; exhaust gas cleaning means for cleaning exhaust gas from the combustion means; and a plurality of heat source power generation devices for utilizing a low-temperature heat source from the exhaust gas cleaning means and a high-temperature heat source recovered from exhaust gas on the upstream side of the exhaust gas cleaning means. The organic waste combustion plant adjusts an exhaust gas temperature introduced into the exhaust gas cleaning means so that the effective heat drop of working fluid in the front and rear of a turbine becomes maximum. 【課題】下水処理施設からの汚泥や、食品廃棄物などの有機性廃棄物を焼却やガス化処理するプラントにおいて、システム全体として、エネルギー回収率を最大限に引き出すとともにプラントの操業コストを低減させる方法及び装置を提供する。【解決手段】有機性廃棄物の燃焼手段、該燃焼手段からの排ガスを洗浄する排ガス洗浄手段、並びに該排ガス洗浄手段からの低温熱源及び該排ガス洗浄手段の上流側の排ガスから回収される高温熱源を利用する複数熱源発電装置、を備えた有機性廃棄物燃焼プラントにおいて、タービン前後の作動流体の有効熱落差が最大となるよう、前記排ガス洗浄手段に導入される排ガス温度を調整する。【選択図】図3
