PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging method of a self-propelled cleaning apparatus and a charger thereof.SOLUTION: A self-propelled cleaning apparatus which includes a charger formed with a mounting table on the lower side and provided with a mounting space, a signal transmission element for transmitting an induction signal internally provided on the mounting table, an electric output conductive terminal provided on the mounting table internally provided in the mounting space, a detection unit which detects the induction signal, and a charging unit provided with a charging conductive terminal is charged by detecting the induction signal of the signal transmission element provided in the charger with the detection unit, leaning on the charger, being stopped in a place with a set distance, and connecting the conductive terminal of the charging unit provided in the self-propelled cleaning apparatus and the conductive terminal of the charger with a human work. 【課題】自走式清掃装置の充電方法とその充電装置を提供すること。【解決手段】下方に載置台を形成し、載置スペースを設ける充電装置と、載置台に誘導信号を発信する信号発信素子を内設し、載置スペースに内設する載置台に設ける電気出力の導電端子と、誘導信号を検出する検出ユニットと、充電用導電端子を設ける充電ユニットと、を備える自走式清掃装置が検出ユニットによって、充電装置に設ける信号発信素子の誘導信号を検出し、充電装置に寄り掛かり、設定距離の場所に停止され、人為方式によって、自走式清掃装置に備える充電ユニットの導電端子と、充電装置の導電端子とを接続して充電する。【選択図】図８
