PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal pressure type filter element for constituting a miniaturized filter device and the filter device using the same.SOLUTION: A filter element comprises: a filter part 20 arranged so as to surround an injection chamber 12 to which filtered liquid is injected; and a lid body which is connected to an upper end and a lower end of the filter part 20, and has a supply port 14 for supplying the filtered liquid to the injection chamber 12, in which a cylindrical housing 40 for surrounding the filter part 20 is provided so as to provide an internal space S2 along an outer peripheral side surface of the filter part 20, the lid body is constituted so as to cover the internal space S2, and the housing 40 or the lid body has an outlet 18 for discharging the filtered liquid passed through the filter part 20 to the outside by communicating with the internal space S2. 【課題】小型化された濾過装置を構成するための内圧式フィルターエレメント及びこれを利用した濾過装置を提供すること。【解決手段】被濾過液が注入される注入室１２を包囲するように配置されたフィルター部２０と、フィルター部２０の上端部および下端部に接続され、注入室１２に被濾過液を供給するための供給口１４を有する蓋体と、を備えたフィルターエレメントであって、フィルター部２０の外周側面に沿って内部空間Ｓ２を設けるようにして、フィルター部２０を包囲する筒状の筐体４０が設けられ、蓋体は内部空間Ｓ２を覆うようになっており、筐体４０又は蓋体は、内部空間Ｓ２と連通することで、フィルター部２０を通過してきた被濾過液を外部に排出するための排出口１８を有することを特徴とする。【選択図】図３
