PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam jetting unit having a high wrinkle stretching effect and excellent usability.SOLUTION: A steam jetting unit includes: a vaporization chamber 1 for generating steam; a heater 2 for heating the vaporization chamber 1; a water tank 14 for storing water supplied to the vaporization chamber 1; a pump device 16 for supplying the water in the water tank 14 to the vaporization chamber; a base 4 for heating clothes and the like; and a housing 11 for covering an upper surface side of the base 4. It is configured in such a manner that the base 4 protrudes downward from a lower end peripheral edge part 11a of the housing 11, and an outer peripheral edge part 4d of the base 4 is located further inside than the lower end peripheral edge part 11a of the housing 11. The steam jetting unit can remove moisture from clothes and the like by heating by the base 4 as well as wet them. Thus, a state where fiber is stretched by steam hardly returns and a wrinkle stretching effect can be enhanced. Also, during usage, the other hand which is holding the clothes does not come into contact with the heated base 4, so that it is safe and usability can be improved. 【課題】しわ伸ばし効果が高く、使い勝手が良いスチーム噴出器を提供する。【解決手段】スチーム発生用の気化室１と、気化室１を加熱するヒータ２と、気化室１へ供給される水を貯留する水タンク１４と、水タンク１４内の水を気化室へ供給するポンプ装置１６と、衣類等を加熱するベース４と、ベース４の上面側を覆う筐体１１とを備え、ベース４は、筐体１１の下端周縁部１１ａより下方へ突設されるとともに、ベース４の外周縁部４ｄは筐体１１の下端周縁部１１ａより内方に位置するように構成されたもので、スチーム噴出器は、衣類等に対して、湿らせると同時にベース４により加熱して水分を除去することができ、繊維をスチームで伸ばした状態を戻りにくくすることができ、しわ伸ばし効果を高めることができるとともに、使用時に、衣類を保持している他方の手に加熱されたベース４が接触することがなく、安全で使い勝手をよくすることができる。【選択図】図２
