Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a specific object even when only a part of the specific object to be detected is displayed in an image.SOLUTION: A root score that indicates a probability of the whole shape of a specific object, part scores taking into consideration of positions of the parts relative to the specific object, that indicate probabilities of respective parts, and in addition scores that indicate probabilities of the relative positional relationships among the respective parts, are used for calculating an evaluation point S that indicates the probability that the specific object or a part thereof exists. 【課題】検出すべき特定の対象物の一部しか画像に映しだされていない場合であっても、その特定対象物の検出を可能とする。【解決手段】特定対象物の全体形状の確からしさを示すルートスコア、及び、特定対象物に対する相対位置を加味した、各パーツである確からしさ示すパーツスコアに加え、各パーツ同士の相対的位置関係の確からしさを示すスコアを用いて、特定対象物もしくはその一部が存在する確からしさを示す評価点Ｓを算出する。【選択図】図２
