Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, under a specified drive condition, circumferential oscillation is generated on an upper race, a loss is generated due to the rubbing of a flange part with an upper face of the upper race, and efficiency is lowered.SOLUTION: A hermetic type compressor comprises an electric element 105, and a compression element 106 driven by a shaft 120 from the electric element. A thin plate 160 is arranged between an upper race 154 of a thrust ball bearing 150 which supports the shaft 120 and a flange part 160 of the shaft. By this configuration, contact of the upper race 154 with a ball 153 can be stably maintained by the thin plate even if a clearance caused by a load variation is generated between the upper race 154 and the flange part 123, the circumferential oscillation of the upper race 154 can be reduced and a loss is reduced, and the hermetic type compressor which is high in efficiency and durability can be obtained. 【課題】特定の運転条件下において、上レースに円周方向の揺動が発生し、フランジ部と上レースの上面がこすれることで損失が発生し、効率が低下する課題があった。【解決手段】電動要素105と、電動要素からのシャフト120により駆動される圧縮要素106と、を備え、シャフト120を支持するスラストボールベアリング150の上レース154とシャフトのフランジ部123との間に、薄板160を設けたものである。これにより、負荷変動による上レース154とフランジ部123の間に隙間が生じたとしても、薄板により安定的に上レース154とボール153の接触を維持することができ、上レース154の円周方向の揺動を低減し損失を低くすることができ、高効率で、かつ、耐久性の高い密閉型圧縮機とすることができる。【選択図】図1
