Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter in which a battery pack can be easily attached and detached.SOLUTION: A bush cutter includes an operation pole, a cutting blade unit provided at a front end of the operation pole, and a body unit provided at a rear end of the operation pole. In the cutting blade unit, a motor-driven cutting blade is rotatably supported. A battery pack-attaching section for slidably receiving the battery pack for supplying electric power to the motor is formed in the body unit. A sliding direction of the battery pack in the battery pack-attaching section forms an angle with respect to a center axis of the operation pole. 【課題】 電池パックの着脱が容易な刈払機を提供する。【解決手段】 刈払機は、操作棹と、操作棹の前端に設けられている刈刃ユニットと、操作棹の後端に設けられている本体ユニットを備えている。刈刃ユニットには、モータによって駆動される刈刃が回転可能に支持されている。本体ユニットには、モータに電力を供給する電池パックをスライド可能に受入れる電池パック装着部が形成されている。電池パック装着部における電池パックのスライド方向は、操作棹の中心軸に対して角度を成している。【選択図】図５
