Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent decrease in the intensity of detecting terahertz waves caused by positional deviation of a photoconductive antenna in a terahertz wave photoconductive element.SOLUTION: A terahertz photoconductive element (110, 130) includes a photoconductive substrate (111, 131) and an antenna electrode formed on one surface of the photoconductive substrate. The antenna electrode includes a first electrode part and a second electrode part (112, 113, 132, 133). Each of the first electrode part and the second electrode part has a main part extending in one direction on the one plane and a plurality of branches extending in another direction and electrically connected to the main part. In a plan view on the one surface, the plurality of branches of the first electrode part and the plurality of branches of the second electrode are alternately arranged as spaced in the one direction. 【課題】テラヘルツ波光伝導素子における、光伝導アンテナの位置ずれに起因するテラヘルツ波の検出強度の低下を防止する。【解決手段】テラヘルツ波光伝導素子(110、130)は、光伝導基板(111、131)と該光伝導基板の一の面上に形成されたアンテナ電極とを備えている。アンテナ電極は、第1電極部及び第2電極部(112、113、132、133)を有している。第1電極部及び第2電極部各々は、一の面上において一の方向に延びる主部と、他の方向に延びると共に主部に電気的に接続された複数の枝部とを有する。一の面上で平面的に見て、第1電極部の複数の枝部各々と、第2電極部の複数の枝部各々とは、一の方向に間隔をあけて交互に配置されている。【選択図】図4
