PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vaporization filter and a humidifier using the same capable of reducing a contraction amount of the vaporization filter repeating wetness and dryness over a long period of time, and preventing leakage of air and leakage of water supplied to the vaporization filter.SOLUTION: A vaporization filter 41 is arranged in a draft air duct 10 and exhibits both water absorption absorbing water and ventilation passing the air through a front surface 411 and a back surface 412. In the vaporization filter 41, linear shape holding members 410a to 410j are arranged on at least one of the front surface 411 and the back surface 412 for holding a shape of the vaporization filter 41 so as to cross one another. As a result, even if the vaporization filter 41 repeats wetness and dryness for a long period of time and a contracting force acts on the vaporization filter 41 in a radial direction of the draft air duct 10, a shape holding force resisting the contracting force is attained to make it possible for the vaporization filter 41 to contract. 【課題】長期間に渡って湿潤と乾燥が繰り返される気化フィルタの収縮量を低減させ、空気漏れや気化フィルタに供給される水が漏れ出すのを防止可能な気化フィルタおよびそれを用いた加湿機を提供する。【解決手段】送風路１０内に配置され、水分を吸収する吸水性と、空気が表面と裏面を通過する通気性とを兼ね備えた気化フィルタ４１であって、気化フィルタ４１には、気化フィルタ４１の形状を保持するために表面４１１または裏面４１２の少なくとも一方の面上に線状の形状保持部材４１０ａ〜４１０ｊが交差するように配置されている。これにより、気化フィルタ４１は、湿潤と乾燥が長期間に渡って繰り返され、送風路１０の径方向に収縮する力が働いたとしても、収縮力に対向する形状保持力が得られ、気化フィルタ４１が収縮し難くなる。【選択図】 図４
