Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively decrease a rotational-direction speed of a swirl flow flowing into a seal part.SOLUTION: A rotary machine comprises: rotary body 12 rotating axially; a stationary body 6 arranged to face the rotary body 12 in a radial direction of the rotary body; a seal part 4 sealing a gap between the rotary body 12 and the stationary body 6; and a swirl flow suppression unit 25 including a plurality of concave portions 25 formed circumferentially recessed from the stationary body 6 on a high pressure side of the seal part 4 in the gap and reducing a swirl flow S flowing in a rotational direction R of the rotary body 12. Each concave portion 25 includes: a guide surface 26 connected to a forward edge 25a of the concave portion 25 in the rotational direction R in a cross-sectional view crossing an axial line and continuously extending so as to guide a branch flow S2 from the swirl flow S backward in the rotational direction R; and an introduction surface 27 connected to the guide surface 26 and introducing the branch flow S2 into the gap in the radial direction.
【課題】シール部に流入する旋回流の回転方向速度を効果的に低減させる。【解決手段】軸線回りに回転する回転体12と、回転体12の径方向に対向して配置される静止体6と、回転体12と静止体6との間隙をシールするシール部4と、間隙におけるシール部4の高圧側において静止体6から窪むように周方向に複数が形成された凹部25を有し、回転体12の回転方向Rに流れる旋回流Sを減少させる旋回流抑制部25と、を備え、凹部25は、軸線に直交する断面視にて、凹部25の回転方向前方側の縁部25aに接続されて、旋回流Sからの分流S2を回転方向後方側に向かって案内するように連続して延びる案内面26と、案内面26に接続されて分流S2を径方向に向かって間隙に導入する導入面27と、を有する回転機械を提供する。【選択図】図5 |
