Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass film laminate which allows easy peeling of a glass film from a support glass while preventing damage of the support glass in a production-related treatment and damage of a glass film during peeling of the glass film from the support glass.SOLUTION: A glass film laminate 1 consists of a support glass 3 and a glass film 2, laminated with their mating surfaces surface-contacted. The glass film 2 is not protruded from the support glass 3. In the vicinity of an end side 32 of the support glass 3, a protrusion part 31 protruding toward the glass film 2 side is provided, and the glass film 2 is in contact with the protrusion part 31. In the vicinity of an end side 21 of the glass film 2, there is provided a peeling region 11 which is surrounded by the support glass 3, the protrusion part 31 and the glass film 2 and holds both mating surfaces of the support glass 3 and the glass film 2 in a non-contact state. A method of peeling a glass film comprises peeling the glass film 2 from the support glass 3 by expanding the peeling region 11. 【課題】製造関連処理時の支持ガラスの破損や、支持ガラスからガラスフィルムを剥離する際のガラスフィルムの破損を防止しつつ、支持ガラスからガラスフィルムを容易に剥離可能とするガラスフィルム積層体。【解決手段】支持ガラス3とガラスフィルム2とを、それぞれの合わせ面を面接触させて積層したガラスフィルム積層体1であって、ガラスフィルム2は支持ガラス3から食み出しておらず、支持ガラス3の端辺32近傍には、ガラスフィルム2側に突出する突出部31が設けられ、ガラスフィルム2は、突出部31と接触しており、ガラスフィルム2の端辺21近傍には、支持ガラス3と突出部31とガラスフィルム2とで囲繞され且つ支持ガラス3とガラスフィルム2との両合わせ面が非接触状態とされた剥離領域11が設けられているガラスフィルム積層体。剥離領域11を広げていくことで、支持ガラス3からガラスフィルム2を剥離するガラスフィルムの剥離方法。【選択図】図1
