Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator 3 where air in manifolds 11, 12 is quickly exhausted in the applicator 3.SOLUTION: An applicator 3 comprises: an inflow port 18 where a coating liquid inflows; a discharge slit 21 to discharge the coating liquid which is formed to be long in one direction and narrow in an orthogonal direction; an upper side manifold 11 connected to the inflow port 18; a lower side manifold 12 connected to the discharge slit 21; a throttle flow passage 22 which connects between the manifolds 11, 12 and which is formed to be long in one direction and narrow in an orthogonal direction; and an air vent hole 32 which is open in a region A including a border 40 between the throttle flow passage 22 and the lower side manifold 12. 【課題】塗布器3のマニホールド11,12内のエアを迅速に排出する。【解決手段】塗布器3は、塗布液が流入する流入口18と、一方向に長くかつその直交方向に狭く形成され塗布液を吐出する吐出スリット21とを有している。更に、塗布器3は、流入口18と繋がる上側マニホールド11及び吐出スリット21と繋がる下側マニホールド12と、これらマニホールド11,12の間を繋ぐと共に一方向に長くかつその直交方向に狭く形成された絞り流路22と、この絞り流路22と下側マニホールド12との境界40を含む領域Aにおいて開口するエアベント孔32とを有している。【選択図】 図2
