PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for electrostatic touch switch device in which false detection of an unintended operation in a wiring region, where the wiring is arranged, is suppressed, and an operation across a plurality of electrodes is detectable, and to provide an electrostatic touch switch device.SOLUTION: An electrode 1 for electrostatic touch switch device is substantially configured to include a plurality of electrodes (first electrode 11-ninth electrode 19) provided on a substrate 10 and detecting an approaching finger 3, a plurality of interconnections (first interconnection 110-ninth interconnection 190) provided on the substrate 10 and connected electrically with the plurality of electrodes, and at least one electrode for wiring region provided along the plurality of interconnections while being insulated therefrom, and detecting the finger 3 approaching a wiring region 101 where the plurality of interconnections are provided. 【課題】配線が配置された配線領域になされた意図せぬ操作を検出する誤検出を抑制すると共に、複数の電極に跨がるような操作の検出を可能とする静電タッチスイッチ装置用電極及び静電タッチスイッチ装置を提供する。【解決手段】静電タッチスイッチ装置用電極１は、基体１０に設けられ、接近した指３を検出する複数の電極（第１の電極１１〜第９の電極１９）と、基体１０に設けられ、複数の電極に電気的に接続された複数の配線（第１の配線１１０〜第９の配線１９０）と、複数の配線と絶縁されると共に複数の配線に沿って設けられ、複数の配線が設けられた配線領域１０１に接近した指３を検出する少なくとも１つの配線領域用電極と、を備えて概略構成されている。【選択図】図１
