Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy in computing of a pressing force coordinate in a case of small pressing force.SOLUTION: A touch input device comprises: a flat plate part; a plurality of force sensors that are respectively disposed at a plurality of positions of the flat plate part and detect force received from the flat plate part; and a computing part that stores a plurality of pieces of correction information to correct a pressing force coordinate in association with pressing force indicating force of pressure to the surface of the flat plate part and the pressure force coordinate indicating a position of the pressure, that detects first pressing force on the basis of output of the plurality of force sensors, that computes a first pressing force coordinate on the basis of the output of the plurality of force sensors and the plurality of positions, that selects first correction information from among the plurality of pieces of correction information on the basis of the first pressing force and the first pressing force coordinate; and that corrects the first pressing force coordinate using the first correction information. 【課題】押圧力が小さい場合における押圧座標の算出の精度を向上させる。【解決手段】タッチ入力装置は、平板部と、平板部の複数の位置に夫々配置されており、平板部から受ける力を検出する複数の力センサと、平板部の表面の押圧の力を示す押圧力と押圧の位置を示す押圧座標とに対応付けて、押圧座標を補正するための複数の補正情報を記憶し、複数の力センサの出力に基づいて第1押圧力を検出し、複数の力センサの出力及び複数の位置に基づいて第1押圧座標を算出し、第1押圧力及び第1押圧座標に基づいて複数の補正情報の中から第1補正情報を選択し、第1補正情報を用いて第1押圧座標を補正する演算部と、を備える。【選択図】図1
