Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower of which a blast pipe is not obtrusive and which eliminates a risk of losing the blast pipe.SOLUTION: A backpack type blower 1A includes: a blower body 2 equipped with a power source and a fan driven by the power source; a backpack 3 on which the blower body 2 is mounted; a blast pipe 4 including a bellows part 20 communicating with a sucking port 10 of the fan via a first connection member 11; and a grip 50 provided on the blast pipe 4 and held by an operator. The blast pipe 4 can be locked or unlocked with the backpack 3.
