Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent positional deviation of a ratchet lever or a sensor lever thereby achieving stabilization of an operation performance when locking.SOLUTION: A seat belt retractor comprises an acceleration sensor 30, which is installed to a retractor frame, is so supported as to hold a sensor reference face horizontally and detects acceleration of a vehicle, and a lock mechanism 24 for locking a drawing action of a seat belt according to an acceleration of a vehicle detected by the acceleration sensor. In the seat belt retractor, an inferior surface of a ratchet lever 36 in the lock mechanism 24 and a top surface of a sensor lever 37 are brought into contact with each other by a groove part 36e of the ratchet lever 36 and a rib 37d of the sensor lever 37, in the state such that both the surfaces are engaged, so as to restrict relative movement of the ratchet lever and the sensor lever in directions of respective rotary axes L4, L3. 【課題】ラチェットレバーやセンサレバーの位置ずれを防止して、ロック時の動作性能の安定化を図る。【解決手段】リトラクタフレームに取り付けられて、センサ基準面を水平に保つように支持され、車両の加速度を検出する加速度センサ30と、加速度センサによって検出される車両の加速度に応じてシートベルトの引き出し動作をロックするロック機構24と、を備えたシートベルトリトラクタにおいて、ロック機構24のラチェットレバー36の下面と、加速度センサ30のセンサレバー37の上面とは、ラチェットレバーの溝部36eとセンサレバー37のリブ37dとによって、ラチェットレバーとセンサレバーの各回動軸線L4、L3方向への相対移動を規制するように、互いに係合した状態で当接している。【選択図】図5
