Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly conduct renewal work for a protective tube, at the same time, to realize cost reduction.SOLUTION: A protective tube 1 comprises: two split tubes 2a, 2b, which are divided in a circumferential direction into separated members with each other; and a lock member 3 holding those two split tubes 2a, 2b combined in a tubular state. The lock member 3 combining and fixing the split tubes 2a, 2b is a separated member from the split tubes 2a, 2b, so that the protective tube does not need a wide space to be worked, which is different from a case where the split tubes 2a, 2b are provided with a connection means such as a hinge. Therefore, even in a narrow space, such as an underground area, renewal work for the protective tube 1 can be conducted smoothly. Moreover, the split tubes 2a, 2b are not provided with a lock mechanism but are provided with engaging parts 7, 8 formed thereon in order to attach the lock member 3 thereto, which makes shapes of the split pipes 2a, 2b common and can increase general purpose of those pipes. Accordingly, manufacturing cost can be lower. 【課題】保護管の更新工事をスムーズに行うとともに、コスト低減を図ること。【解決手段】周方向に分割した、互いに別部材である二つの分割管2a、2bと、この二つの分割管2a、2bを管状に組み合わせた状態で保持するロック部材3とで保護管1を構成する。分割管2a、2b同士を組み合わせて固定するロック部材3を、この分割管2a、2bとは別部材としたので、分割管2a、2b同士にヒンジ等の連結手段を設けた場合と異なり、作業のための広いスペースの確保が不要となる。このため、地下等の狭小スペースにおいても、保護管1の更新工事をスムーズに行うことができる。しかも、分割管2a、2b自体にはロック機構が設けられておらず、ロック部材3を取り付ける係止部7、8を形成するだけでよいので、分割管2a、2bの形状を共通化して汎用性を高めることができる。このため、製造コストの削減を図ることもできる。【選択図】図1
