Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal treatment apparatus capable of preventing chipping of a quartz window even when fastening torque for fastening a frame member to a chamber is strengthened.SOLUTION: A quartz chamber window 61 is mounted to a chamber 6 while interposing an O ring 68 therebetween. An aluminum frame 90 is fastened to a chamber side part 63 by a screw 96, such that a flange part 92 presses the chamber window 61 from an upper side. The flange part 92 of the aluminum frame 90 is not in contact with an edge part 61a of an upper surface of the chamber window 61, and the edge part 61a is opened. Therefore, even when fastening torque for fastening the aluminum frame 90 to the chamber 6 is strengthened, chipping does not occur in the edge part 61a of the chamber window 61. An end portion of the flange part 92 of the aluminum frame 90 is also separated from the upper surface of the chamber window 61, the risk of chipping the quartz chamber window 61 by the end portion of the flange part 92 is also eliminated. 【課題】フレーム部材をチャンバーに締結する締め付けトルクを強くしても石英窓の欠損を防止することができる熱処理装置を提供する。【解決手段】チャンバー6には、Oリング68を挟み込んで石英のチャンバー窓61が装着される。アルミフレーム90をネジ96によってチャンバー側部63に締結することにより、鍔部92がチャンバー窓61を上側から押さえつける。チャンバー窓61の上面の端縁部61aには、アルミフレーム90の鍔部92が接触しておらず、当該端縁部61aは開放されている。このため、アルミフレーム90をチャンバー6に締結する締め付けトルクを強くしても、チャンバー窓61の端縁部61aに欠損が生じることは無い。また、アルミフレーム90の鍔部92の端部もチャンバー窓61の上面から隔離しているため、鍔部92の端部が石英のチャンバー窓61に欠損を生じさせるおそれもない。【選択図】図6
