Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device having improved operability of the portable device.SOLUTION: A display area 2a is provided on the front surface of a device case 4 of a portable device. A touch panel detects operation to the display area 2a by an operating finger. A touch sensor 90 is provided in the device case of the portable device, and detects a contact position where a holding finger holding the device case is in contact. An inclination sensor detects an angle of inclination of the device case with respect to a reference attitude. When detecting both change in the contact position and change in the angle of inclination using the touch sensor and the inclination sensor, a control unit moves a display screen in a parallel fashion so as to be away from the contact position of the device case and the holding finger 32, and displays the screen in the display area 2a. 【課題】携帯機器の操作性を向上することを可能にする携帯機器を提供する。【解決手段】表示領域２ａは、携帯機器の機器ケース４の前面に設けられる。タッチパネルは操作指による表示領域２ａへの操作を検出する。タッチセンサ９０は、携帯機器の機器ケースに設けられ、当該機器ケースを保持する保持指との接触位置を検出する。傾斜センサは、機器ケースの基準姿勢に対する傾斜角を検出する。制御部は、タッチセンサおよび傾斜センサを用いて、当該接触位置の変化と、当該傾斜角の変化との両方を検出したときに、機器ケースと保持指３２との接触位置から遠ざかるように、表示画面を平行移動させて表示領域２ａに表示する。【選択図】図３
