Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless motor that is able to reduce cogging torque without causing magnetic saturation of the salient pole of a stator core.SOLUTION: The pole teeth part 9 of a salient pole 8 has a pair of notches 13, each of which is formed in such a manner that an arcuate peripheral face opposite a magnet 5 is notched at a depth t in a radial direction on both circumferential sides of the central position and in a direction substantially orthogonal to the center line of the salient pole 8. By forming the notches 13, a projecting part 12 having an arcuate part at the leading end is formed in the circumferential central position of the pole teeth part 9. The radial depth t of each of the notches 13 is identical to at least a gap length g between the magnet 5 and the arcuate part 12a of the projecting part 12. The angle range of the projecting part 12 as viewed from the rotation center O of the rotor 3 is set to the range from 10.5 degrees to 12 degrees. 【課題】ステータコアの突極が磁気飽和することなく、コギングトルクを低減することができるブラシレスモータを提供する。【解決手段】突極8の極歯部9には、マグネット5と対向する円弧状の外周面を、周方向の中心位置の両側で、それぞれ、径方向に深さtで突極8の中心線と略直交する方向に切り欠くことによって一対の切り欠き部13、13が形成される。切り欠き部13、13の形成によって、極歯部9の周方向中央位置には、先端部に円弧部を有する凸部12が形成される。切り欠き部13、13の径方向の深さtは、少なくともマグネット5と凸部12の円弧部12a間のギャップ長gと同じであり、凸部12のロータ3の回転中心Oから見た角度範囲は、10.5度〜12度の範囲に設定される。【選択図】図2
