PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a rubber ring from being removed when repeating the fitting and withdrawal while prying diagonally, without deteriorating the workability.SOLUTION: A waterproof connector 10 having a fitting groove 80 in which a charging connector can be fitted, is constituted to includes a body 30 arranged adjacently to the fitting groove 80, a rubber ring 70 fitted over the outer peripheral surface of the body 30, an engaging member 74 provided to project rearward from the side edge 73 of the rubber ring 70, with a head 77 being formed at the rear end, and insertable into a through hole 43 formed in the rear wall of the fitting groove 80, a void 79 for escaping the engaging member 74 when the diameter thereof is reduced by the inner peripheral wall of the through hole 43, and a press part 65 for increasing the diameter of the head 77 when the engaging member 74 is inserted into the through hole 43, and presses the head 77 passed through the through hole 43 from behind. 【課題】作業性を悪化させることなく、斜めにこじりながら嵌合離脱を繰り返した場合にゴムリングの外れを防ぐ。【解決手段】本発明は、充電用コネクタが嵌合可能とされた嵌合溝８０を有する防水コネクタ１０であって、嵌合溝８０に隣り合って配された本体部３０と、この本体部３０の外周面に嵌着されたゴムリング７０と、ゴムリング７０の側縁７３から後方に突出して設けられ、その後端部に頭部７７が形成され、かつ、嵌合溝８０の奥壁に形成された貫通孔４３に挿入可能な係止部材７４と、貫通孔４３の内周壁によって係止部材７４を縮径させるに際して同係止部材７４を逃がす空隙７９と、係止部材７４が貫通孔４３に挿入されて同貫通孔４３を通り越した頭部７７を後方から押圧することで同頭部７７を拡径させる押圧部６５とを備えた構成としたところに特徴を有する。【選択図】図５
