Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially oriented polyamide-based resin film which has excellent laminate strength, low-temperature pinhole resistance, impact resistance, and transparency and maintains good appearance even if it is subjected to sterilization treatment in hot water.SOLUTION: A polyamide-based block copolymer is characterized in that a hard segment is composed of a residue of a polyamide formed from a cyclic lactam having 4-10 carbon atoms and a soft segment is composed of a residue of polyoxytetramethylene glycol having a number average molecular weight of 500-4000. In the polyamide-based block copolymer, the content X (pts.mass) of the hard segment, and the content Y (pts.mass) and the number average molecular weight Mn of the soft segment satisfy formulas (1) and (2), mentioned below, the reduced viscosity is 1.0-2.8 dl/g, and the content of acid terminal groups is 40-190 eq/ton.
