PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite plywood excellent in designability and capable of preventing exposure of the unevenness of a woody substrate to a design surface.SOLUTION: A composite plywood 1 comprises joining mutually a woody substrate 2, a wet process hardboard 3 laminated on the surface of the woody substrate 2, and a decorative surface layer 4 laminated on the surface of a side opposite the woody substrate 2 in the hardboard 3. The wet process hardboard 3 is provided with a hard surface 31 on one main face and a soft surface 32 softer than the hard surface 31 on the other main face, and lies between the woody substrate 2 and the decorative surface layer 4 in such a state as to direct the hard surface 31 to the side of the decorative surface layer 4 and to direct the soft surface 32 to the side of the woody substrate 2. 【課題】木質基板の凹凸が意匠面に表れることを防ぐことができる、意匠性に優れた複合合板を提供すること。【解決手段】複合合板１は、木質基板２と、木質基板２の表面に積層された湿式ハードボード３と、湿式ハードボード３における木質基板２と反対側の表面に積層された化粧層４と、を互いに接合してなる。湿式ハードボード３は、一方の主面に硬質面３１を、他方の主面に硬質面３１よりも軟質の軟質面３２をそれぞれ備え、硬質面３１を化粧層４側に向け、軟質面３２を木質基板２側に向けた状態で、木質基板２と化粧層４との間に介在している。【選択図】図１
