Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a self diagnosis method for preventing failure due to deformation of a machine tool equipped with a camera inside the machine and wear of a component etc., and a method for correcting lowering of processing accuracy due to deformation and ricketiness detected by the diagnosis.SOLUTION: When a drive time and a workpiece processing number of a machine reach a registered interval, cameras provided at a rotary table and a sending stage and at the inside of the machine are moved to measurement positions, take images, detect the positions of detection object places from the images, and detect the deviations from the normal positions. Repeating these operation plural times, plural deviation amounts are determined, correction values for each control axial direction of the table and the sending stage are calculated, and the correction values set in a controller are renewed. When the mutual difference among plural deviation amounts or correction values detected or calculated exceeds a threshold value, an alarm is issued and the machine is stopped. 【課題】機械内部にカメラを備えた工作機械の変形や部品の摩耗などによる故障を予防するための自己診断方法及び当該診断により検出した変形やガタによる加工精度の低下を補正する方法を得る。【解決手段】機械の運転時間やワーク加工数が登録した間隔に達したとき、回転台や送り台と機械内部に設けられたカメラを計測位置に移動し、画像を取得し、画像から検出対象箇所の位置を検出し、その本来あるべき位置からの偏倚を検出する。これらの操作を複数回繰り返すことにより、複数の偏倚量を求め、テーブルや送り台の各制御軸方向の補正値を演算して制御器に設定されている補正値を更新する。検出ないし演算した複数の偏倚量相互ないし補正値相互の差がしきい値を超えているときは警告を発して機械を停止する。【選択図】図6
