A device for manufacturing a diamond tool includes: a stage 5 for holding a diamond member 10; and a laser source for irradiating the surface 11a of the diamond 11 with the YVOlaser L1. According to the method and the device for manufacturing the diamond tool, a minute hole can be formed more stably. 【課題】微細な孔をより安定に形成することが可能なダイヤモンド工具の製造方法および製造装置を提供する。【解決手段】ダイヤモンド工具の製造方法は、ダイヤモンド11の表面11aにYVO4レーザL1を照射して、ダイヤモンド11を貫通する孔16を形成する工程を備えている。ダイヤモンド工具の製造装置は、ダイヤモンド部材10を保持するステージ5と、ダイヤモンド11の表面11aにYVO4レーザL1を照射するレーザ光源とを備えている。当該ダイヤモンド工具の製造方法および製造装置によれば、微細な孔をより安定に形成することができる。【選択図】図3
