Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device which can easily reduce power consumption of a display unit.SOLUTION: An electronic device comprises: a display unit 10; a display control unit 12 which displays an image on the display unit on the basis of image signals input from the outside; a first power supply unit 20 which converts alternating current power into first power at first voltage, and supplies the first power to the display unit; a breaking unit 24 which breaks the alternating current power supplied to the first power supply unit on the basis of the image signals; a second power supply unit 22 which converts the alternating current power into second power at second voltage, and supplies the second power to the display control unit and the breaking unit; and a selection unit 42 which selects one of a plurality of servers 50 and transmits image signals output by the selected server to the display control unit. At least one of the plurality of servers supplies third power to the selection unit, and when the third power becomes unstable, the second power supply unit supplies the second power to the selection unit.
