Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically return to a trackable state capable of tracking a retro reflector in short time and with high accuracy when the tracking is disabled because laser light is blocked and the like.SOLUTION: A tracking control part 621 performs a tracking control of a retro reflector 3, using a light reception signal outputted from a laser interferometer 5. An emission direction control part 624 controls a direction of measurement light so that the measurement light is emitted in a direction where the retro reflector 3 exists with reference to a reference of the laser interferometer 5, using a position of the laser interferometer 5, and a position of the retro reflector 3 detected by retro reflector position detection means 7. A control switch part 625 determines whether or not a tracking state is in a trackable state of the retro reflector 3 on the basis of the light reception signal of the laser interferometer 5, and when the state is put into an untrackable state, a control by the tracking control part 621 is switched to a control by the emission direction control part 624, and when the state is put into the trackable state, the control by the emission direction control part 624 is switched to the control by the tracking control part 621. 【課題】レーザー光が遮断される等の理由により追尾できなくなったときに、短時間かつ精度良く、再帰反射体の追尾が可能な追尾可能状態に自動的に復帰する。【解決手段】追尾制御部621は、レーザー干渉計5から出力された受光信号を用いて再帰反射体3の追尾制御を行う。出射方向制御部624は、レーザー干渉計5の位置と、再帰反射体位置検出手段7により検出された再帰反射体3の位置と、を用いて検出される、レーザー干渉計5を基準とした再帰反射体3の存在する方向に測定光が出射されるように、測定光の方向を制御する。制御切替部625は、レーザー干渉計5の受光信号に基づいて再帰反射体3の追尾可能状態であるか否かを判定し、追尾不可能状態となった場合に、追尾制御部621による制御を出射方向制御部624による制御に切替え、追尾可能状態となった場合に、出射方向制御部624による制御を追尾制御部621による制御に切替える。【選択図】図5
