Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the power consumption of an amplifier within a predetermined range.SOLUTION: A control section 11 calculates a heating value of an amplifier 4 based on a difference between a temperature detected by a first temperature detection circuit 8 and a temperature detected by a second temperature detection circuit 9 and on a thermal resistance of a member between the first temperature detection circuit 8 and the second temperature detection circuit 9. The control section 11 calculates a power consumption of the amplifier 4 on the basis of the heating value and an output power of the amplifier 4 detected by an output power detection circuit 10, and if the power consumption exceeds a predetermined range, controls a bias circuit 5 to adjust a bias applied to the amplifier 4. 【課題】増幅器の消費電力を予め定められた範囲内に収める。【解決手段】制御部11は、第1温度検出回路8で検出された温度と第2温度検出回路9で検出された温度との差分、および第1温度検出回路8および第2温度検出回路9の間の部材の熱抵抗に基づき、増幅器4の発熱量を算出する。制御部11は、発熱量および出力電力検出回路10で検出された増幅器4の出力電力に基づき、増幅器4の消費電力を算出し、消費電力が予め定められた範囲を超えている場合には、バイアス回路5を制御して増幅器4に印加されるバイアスを調節する。【選択図】図1
