Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder resin for a nonaqueous secondary battery negative electrode, which can improve dispersion stability of a slurry composition for a negative electrode, flexibility of a negative electrode, and adhesiveness between a negative electrode mixture layer and a collector, and to provide a negative electrode for a nonaqueous secondary battery including the binder resin, and a nonaqueous secondary battery including the negative electrode for a nonaqueous secondary battery.SOLUTION: The binder resin for a nonaqueous secondary battery negative electrode contains a (co)polymer (I) containing a monomer unit expressed by general formula (1) and having a mass average molecular weight of 1000000 to 50000000, by 40 to 100 parts by mass in the binder resin. In formula (1), one of Rand Ris a hydrogen atom or a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, and the other is a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms; and n is an integer of 1 to 500000.
