Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation system that can have its performance improved by increasing the output.SOLUTION: A power generation system has a heat source medium heat exchange part, a medium turbine, a condenser, and a regeneration heater. The heat source medium heat exchange part exchanges heat between a low-boiling-point medium which has a lower boiling point than water and a heat source medium. The low-boiling-point medium having exchanged heat at the heat source medium heat exchange part flows as a working medium into the medium turbine. The condenser condenses the low-boiling-point medium discharged from the medium turbine. The regeneration heater exchanges heat between the low-boiling point medium condensed by the condenser and the low-boiling-point medium extracted from the medium turbine. Here, the regeneration heater is a direct contact type in which heat is exchanged such that the low-boiling-point medium condensed by the condenser and the low-boiling-point medium extracted from the medium turbine come into direct contact with each other, and the low-boiling-point medium having exchanged heat flows in the heat source medium heat exchange part.
