PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to provide at each time the average wait time required to use an external terminal and the length of the queue on the basis of the log of a service provided by the external terminal without separately obtaining the time at which a client lined up in the rear end of the queue.SOLUTION: A queue estimation system comprises: an average service time calculation unit 102 which calculates as average service time the time from the service start time to the service end time contained in the log of a provided service; an arrival time calculation unit 110 which calculates average arrival time by dividing the service time calculated based on the service start time and the service end time contained in the log, by the total number of services processed during the service time; and a queue estimation unit 106 which calculates average wait time and the length of the queue on the basis of the calculated average service time and average arrival time. 【課題】顧客が待ち行列の最後尾に並んだ時刻を別途取得することなく、外部端末が提供したサービスのログに基づいて、外部端末を利用するのに必要な平均待ち時間および待ち行列の長さを時刻ごとに提供可能にする。【解決手段】提供されたサービスのログに含まれるサービス開始時刻からサービス終了時刻までの時間を平均サービス時間として算出する平均サービス時間算出部１０２と、ログにサービス開始時刻およびサービス終了時刻に基づき算出されるサービス時間を、サービス時間の間に処理したサービスの総数で除算することで、平均到着時間を算出する到着時間算出部１１０と、算出された平均サービス時間と平均到着時間とに基づいて平均待ち時間および待ち行列の長さを算出する待ち行列推定部１０６とを有する。【選択図】図１
