PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assist in resolving abnormality in lens movement.SOLUTION: When a lead screw 71 rotates along with the rotation of a motor 51a, a nut 72 joined with the lead screw 71 moves in an axis 310 direction. A focus len 31 moves along with the movement of the nut 72. When the nut 72 moves up to an end 320 of the lead screw 71 for some reason, the nut 72 comes near to be separated from the lead screw 71, causing normal movement of the nut 72 and the lens 31 to be impaired. When such abnormality is detected, a message "Gently hit the camera" is displayed, and a return operation is executed in which the motor 51a is rotated in a direction at a prescribed speed for causing the nut 72 and the lens 31 to move in a collapsible direction (it can be expected that the nut 72 is normally returned onto the lead screw 71 by a mechanical shock generated by hitting the camera). 【課題】レンズ移動異常の解消を支援する。【解決手段】モータ５１ａの回転に伴ってリードスクリュー７１が回転すると、リードスクリュー７１と結合するナット７２が軸３１０方向に移動する。ナット７２の移動に伴いフォーカスレンズ３１が移動する。何らかの要因によりナット７２がリードスクリュー７１の端部３２０にまで移動すると、ナット７２がリードスクリュー７１から外れかかってナット７２及びレンズ３１の正常移動が損なわれる。このような異常が検出された時、「カメラを軽く叩いて下さい」というメッセージを表示すると共に、ナット７２及びレンズ３１を沈胴方向に移動させる方向にモータ５１ａを所定速度で回転させる復帰動作を実行する（カメラを叩く衝撃によりナット７２がリードスクリュー７１上に正常復帰することが期待される）。【選択図】図９
