Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision mitigation device for a vehicle that mitigates damage when an own vehicle is in collision, which can further appropriately determine whether or not a control should be executed.SOLUTION: A collision mitigation device sets operating conditions representing conditions for operating a controlled object for mitigating damage when the own vehicle is in collision (S340-S360); and then detects an object positioned around the own vehicle and operates a collision mitigating portion when a position relation between the own vehicle and the object satisfies the operating conditions. Further the device recognizes an own vehicle travelling section representing a road travelling section on which the own vehicle travels and also recognizes whether or not an object exists within the own vehicle travelling section (S310-S330). When the object exists within the own vehicle travelling section, the device mitigates the operating conditions compared with a case where the object does not exist within the travelling section.
【課題】自車両が衝突する際の被害を緩和させる車両用の衝突緩和装置において、制御を実施すべきか否かをより適切に判定できるようにする。【解決手段】自車両が衝突する際の被害を緩和させるための被制御対象を作動させる際の条件を表す作動条件を設定する(S340〜S360)。そして、自車両の周囲に位置する対象物を検出し、自車両と前記対象物との位置関係が作動条件を満たす際に、衝突緩和部を作動させる。さらに、自車両が走行する道路の走行区分を表す自車両走行区分を認識し、自車両走行区分内に対象物が存在するか否かを認識する(S310〜S330)。そして、自車両走行区分内に対象物が存在する場合、走行区分内に対象物が存在しない場合よりも、作動条件を緩和する。【選択図】図4 |
