Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire excellent in maneuvering stability.SOLUTION: In a cross-section in a tire width direction, a shortest distance SWH between a line 'a' passing through a largest width part of a tire 1 and parallel to a rotational shaft of the tire 1 and a line 'f' in contact with a bead toe 20 and drawn in parallel to the rotational shaft is larger than a shortest distance TUH between a line drawn to pass through a folded end E of a carcass 3 in parallel to the rotational shaft and the line 'f' and smaller than 0.4 times as large as a tire cross-sectional height H. If assuming that a line segment connecting an intersection S between the line 'a' and the carcass 3 to a center B of a bead core is SB and a position on the carcass 3 at which a shortest distance from the line 'f' is 0.5 times as large as the cross-sectional height H is W, a magnitude of the line segment SB is smaller than that of a line segment WB connecting the center B to the position W. If assuming that a shortest distance between a line 'k' in contact with a tread surface of a tread 4 of the tire 1 and parallel to the line 'f' and a line 'j' in contact with an inner surface of the tire 1 and parallel to the line 'f' is TG and a shortest distance between the line 'k' and a line 'l' in contact with the carcass 3 and parallel to the line 'f' is TT, TT/TG is set larger than 0 and smaller than 0.5. 【課題】操縦安定性に優れた空気入りタイヤを提供する。【解決手段】タイヤ幅方向断面において、タイヤ1の最大幅部を通りタイヤ1の回転軸に平行な直線aとビードトゥ20に接し回転軸と平行に引いた直線fとの最短距離SWHは、カーカス3の折り返し端部Eに回転軸と平行に引いた直線と直線fとの最短距離TUHよりも大きく、タイヤの断面高さHの0.4倍よりも小さく、直線aとカーカス3との交点Sとビードコアの中心Bとを結ぶ線分をSB、直線fからの最短距離が断面高さHの0.5倍であるカーカス3上の位置をWとし、線分SBの大きさは、中心Bと位置Wとを結ぶ線分WBの大きさよりも小さく、タイヤ1のトレッド4の踏面に接し直線fに平行な直線kとタイヤ1の内面に接し直線fに平行な直線jとの最短距離をTG、直線kとカーカス3に接し直線fに平行な直線lとの最短距離をTTとし、TT/TGは、0より大きく0.5より小さくする。【選択図】図2
