Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber-reinforced porous hollow fiber membrane in which the whole or part of a reinforcing fiber is embedded within the hollow fiber membrane, and which is excellent in permeation performance, separation performance and mechanical characteristics.SOLUTION: In a fiber-reinforced porous hollow fiber membrane in which the whole or part of a reinforcing fiber is embedded within the hollow fiber membrane, the reinforcing fiber is arranged in a part not exceeding 90% of the membrane thickness of the hollow fiber membrane when viewed from the surface of the hollow fiber membrane on a side which is not the side of the porous hollow fiber membrane brought into contact with a substance to be treated. It is preferable that 50% by volume or more of the cross section of the reinforcing fiber is embedded within the hollow fiber membrane. 【課題】透過性能、分離性能、力学的特性にすぐれた、中空糸膜膜内に補強繊維の全部または一部を埋没せしめた繊維強化多孔質中空糸膜を提供する。【解決手段】中空糸膜膜内に補強繊維の全部または一部を埋没せしめた繊維強化多孔質中空糸膜において、多孔質中空糸膜の被処理物接触側ではない側の中空糸膜面からみて中空糸膜膜厚の90%を超えない部分に補強繊維を配置させ、好ましくは補強繊維断面の50容積%以上を中空糸膜中に埋没させた繊維強化多孔質中空糸膜。【選択図】図2
