PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system capable of preventing a person other than control permitted users registered in advance from performing an illegal operation while monitoring illegal use by "spoofing."SOLUTION: A system that allows only a person registered as a user in advance to remotely control a control medium apparatus from a portable terminal device through a communication network, comprises: user registration setting means for allowing items up to "nickname" information that only the identical person may know as well as "ID" and "password" to be registered as user registration setting items; user registration information notifying means capable of informing all registered users of these pieces of information by email or the like at a time of operating an air conditioner; and spoofing eliminating means for detecting and deleting a spoofer and preventing spoofing by assuming the first registered user as an administrator and enabling the administrator to confirm registration contents of the other users, deleting the spoofer, and changing the "password". Security can be thereby strengthened. 【課題】「なりすまし」による不正使用を監視して、予め登録された制御許可者以外からの不正操作を防止する遠隔制御システムを提供する。【解決手段】予め、ユーザ登録を行ったものだけが、通信ネットワークを通じて、制御媒体装置を携帯端末装置から遠隔操作可能なシステムにおいて、ユーザ登録の設定項目として「ＩＤ」「パスワード」の他に 本人にしか知り得ない「ニックネーム」情報まで登録可能とする、ユーザ登録設定手段と、これらの情報を適宜、エアコン操作時に、登録済みの全ユーザにメール等で通知することを可能とする、ユーザ登録情報通知手段と、最初に登録したユーザを管理者と位置づけて、他のユーザの登録内容の確認、削除と、「パスワード」の変更を可能とすることで、なりすまし者を検出して削除すると共に、なりすまし行為を防止する、なりすまし排除手段とを設けることで、セキュリティを強化する。【選択図】図７
