Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical circuit capable of preventing deterioration in optical characteristics and reducing disturbance of stray light generated in the first end part to waveguide light that is reflected at a recipient reflection part from the second end part with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An optical circuit includes: a substrate; a lower clad layer and an upper clad layer that are laminated onto the upper surface of the substrate in order; a core that is interleaved between the lower clad layer and upper clad layer to propagate waveguide light from the first end to second end; a recipient groove provided at a position in contact with the second end of the core; and a recipient reflection part that is disposed in the recipient groove and reflects the waveguide light from the second end of the core to upward or downward of the recipient groove. An angle defined by an incident direction to the first end of the core and an emission direction from the second end of the core is approximately 90 degrees or greater and 270 degrees or less. 【課題】本願発明は、光特性の劣化を防止し、簡単な構成で、かつ、第一の端部で発生した迷光が、第二の端部から受け反射部で反射される導波光への妨害することを低減することを目的とする。【解決手段】本願発明は、基板と、前記基板の上面に順に積層された下部クラッド層及び上部クラッドと、前記下部クラッド層と前記上部クラッド層に挟まれ、第一の端部から第二の端部へ導波光を伝搬するコアと、前記コアの第二の端部が接する位置に設置されている受け側の溝と、前記受け側の溝に配置され、前記コアの第二の端部からの導波光を前記受け側の溝の上方又は下方に反射する受け反射部と、を備え、前記コアの第一の端部への入射方向と前記コアの第二の端部からの出射方向とのなす角度が略90度以上270度以下であることを特徴とする光回路である。【選択図】図3
