Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a structure capable of preventing occurrence of damage such as a crack of a steering column 2b when a steering wheel is rotated with large force while an ignition key is turned off.SOLUTION: A projection wall part 17 for surrounding all around the circumference of a locking through-hole 11a is disposed on the outer circumferential surface of a steering column 2b. A convex part 21 arranged in a lock unit 12a is fit in a concave part 18 arranged on the steering column 2b without backlash. 【課題】イグニッションキーをOFFした状態で、ステアリングホイールを大きな力で回転させようとした場合に、ステアリングコラム2bに亀裂等の損傷が発生するのを防止できる構造を実現する。【解決手段】前記ステアリングコラム2bの外周面に、ロック用透孔11aを全周に亙って囲む突壁部17を設ける。又、このステアリングコラム2bに設けた凹部18と、ロックユニット12aに設けた凸部21とをがたつきなく嵌合させる。【選択図】図1
