Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-mode TOV test system for a surge protection device.SOLUTION: A multi-mode TOV test system for a surge protection device comprises: a test load mounting part for mounting a surge protection device for a single-phase or three-phase voltage; a voltage transforming part for transforming a three-phase voltage from a power source and supplying the transformed voltage to the test load mounting part; an overvoltage generating part for selectively supplying, to the test load mounting part, at least instantaneous overvoltages in both modes from any one phase voltage in the three-phase voltage from the power source; a voltage measuring instrument for measuring the voltage supplied to the test load mounting part; a current measuring instrument for measuring a current supplied to the test load mounting part; a temperature detector for detecting a temperature of a test load; and a control module for performing a thermally stable characteristic test and at least instantaneous overvoltage resistance tests in both the modes on the surge protection device. 【課題】サージ保護装置のマルチモードTOV試験システムを提供する。【解決手段】サージ保護装置のマルチモードTOV試験システムは、単相及び3相電圧用のサージ保護装置を載置するための試験負荷載置部と、電源からの3相電圧を変圧して変圧された電圧を試験負荷載置部に供給する電圧変圧部と、電源からの3相電圧のうちのいずれかの相電圧から少なくとも両モードの瞬時過電圧を選択的に試験負荷載置部に供給する過電圧発生部と、試験負荷載置部に供給される電圧を測定する電圧測定器と、試験負荷載置部に供給される電流を測定する電流測定器と、試験負荷の温度を検出する温度検出器と、サージ保護装置に対して熱的安定特性試験及び少なくとも両モードの瞬時過電圧耐性試験を行う制御モジュールと、を備える。【選択図】図1
