Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an error of a mounting position of a sensor for detecting rotation of a rotor of a power generator.SOLUTION: A battery charger comprises: a position sensor 42 for outputting a position detection signal showing a rotation position of a rotor 12 of a power generator 10; a sensor for detecting output voltage or output current of a predetermined phase; a regulator 20 which is composed of a plurality of rectifying devices and a plurality of switching devices and supplies DC power obtained by rectifying three-phase AC output from the power generator 10 to a battery 24; and an inverter control unit 30 for performing electrifying control of each switching element of the regulator 20 on the basis of a phase of induction voltage of the power generator 10 calculated on the basis of the position detection signal. The inverter control unit 30 receives a rotation rate signal Ne showing a rotation rate of the power generator 10, a position detection signal Tp, either output signal of voltage signal or current signal detected by the sensor, as input; and estimates an error of a mounting position of the position sensor 42 with regard to the induction voltage of the predetermined phase, on the basis of the position detection signal and output signal.
【課題】 発電機のロータの回転を検出するセンサの取付位置の誤差を検出する。【解決手段】 バッテリ充電装置は、発電機10のロータ12の回転位置を表す位置検出信号を出力する位置センサ42、所定相の出力電流または出力電圧を検出するセンサ、複数の整流素子と複数のスイッチング素子からなり、発電機10から出力される三相交流を整流した直流電力をバッテリ24に供給するレギュレータ20、位置検出信号を基準として算出される発電機10の誘起電圧の位相に基づきレギュレータ20の各スイッチング素子の通電制御を行うインバータ制御部30を備える。インバータ制御部30は、発電機10の回転数を示す回転数信号Ne、位置検出信号Tp、センサが検出した電流信号または電圧信号の何れかの出力信号を入力し、位置検出信号と出力信号に基づき、所定相の誘起電圧に対する位置センサ42の取付位置の誤差を推測する。【選択図】 図1 |
