Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper wire in which weldability is more satisfactory than that of a copper wire made of tough pitch copper (3N copper) and tensile strength higher than that of a copper wire made of high purity copper (6N copper), and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a copper wire using a copper wire rod made of oxygen-free copper (4N copper) having a plurality of crystal grains in which crystal orientation is [111] and the rotation angles on atomic planes are different, in which the diameter of the crystal grains is lower than 1/3 of the diameter of the copper wire rod, and also, the tensile strength of the copper wire rod is 200 MPa or higher. 【課題】溶接性がタフピッチ銅(3N銅)からなる銅線よりも良好で、引張強度が高純度銅(6N銅)からなる銅線よりも高い銅線及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】銅線は、結晶方位が[111]であり、原子面上の回転角度が異なる複数の結晶粒を有する無酸素銅(4N銅)からなる銅線材を用いた銅線であって、前記結晶粒の直径が前記銅線材の直径の1/3以下であり、かつ、前記銅線材の引張強度が200MPa以上である。【選択図】図1
