PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a heating cooker having a function practically enough to control a boiling-overflow.SOLUTION: There is provided a heating cooker including a highly practical function for detecting boiling-overflow. In the heating cooker, when a cooking material 101 boils over a top plate 104 connected to a reference potential 103, the moisture contained in the cooking material 101 functions as a dielectric, a boiling-over detecting means 108 uses a strengthened connection by a capacitive coupling between an electrode 106 and the reference potential 103 because of an increase of a boiling-overflow volume, and detects a capacitance by using a capacitance detecting means 107, and the boiling-over detecting means 108 grasps a change of the capacitance, thereby detecting the boiling-over. 【課題】実使用にたえるふきこぼれ対応機能を持つ加熱調理器を実現すること。【解決手段】被調理物１０１が基準電位１０３に接続されたトッププレート１０４上にこぼれ、被調理物１０１に含まれる水分が誘電体として機能し、ふきこぼれ量の増加によって電極１０６と基準電位１０３との容量結合による接続がより強まることを利用し、ふきこぼれ検出手段１０８が、静電容量検出手段１０７を用いて静電容量をとらえ、ふきこぼれ検出手段１０８が静電容量変化をとらえ、ふきこぼれを検出することで、実用性の高いふきこぼれ検出機能を備えた加熱調理器を提供する。【選択図】図１
