Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyphenylene ether (PPE) composition which has good flame retardancy without using a halogen-based flame retardant, gives a cured product having excellent dielectric characteristics of PPE, and shows good fluidity during molding.SOLUTION: A resin composition is provided, which includes, with respect to 100 parts by mass of a thermosetting resin comprising a resin having a base skeleton expressed by formula (1) shown below and a thermosetting component, 5 parts by mass or more and 30 parts by mass or less of an alkyl phosphinate and 1 parts by mass or more and 30 parts by mass or less of a 9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphaphenanthrene-10-oxide derivative that is a phosphorus-based flame retardant. 【課題】ハロゲン系難燃剤を使用せずに良好な難燃性を有し、ポリフェニレンエーテル(PPE)の有する優れた誘電特性有する硬化物を与え、成型時の流動性が良好なPPE組成物を提供する。【解決手段】以下の式(1):で表される基本骨格を有する樹脂及び熱硬化成分からなる熱硬化性樹脂100質量部に対し、アルキルホスフィン酸塩を5質量%以上30質量%以下で、かつ、リン系難燃剤である9,10−ジヒドロ−9−オキサ−10−ホスファフェナントレン−10−オキシド誘導体を1質量%以上30質量%未満で含むことを特徴とする樹脂組成物。【選択図】なし
