Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a chlorohydrocarbon having a conjugated double bond by inexpensively and stereoselectively chlorinating an alcohol having a conjugated double bond.SOLUTION: There is provided the method for producing a chlorohydrocarbon having a conjugated double bond by chlorinating an alcohol having a conjugated double bond, which is represented by general formula (1) RCH=CHCH=CH-Z-OH (where R represents a hydrogen atom or a C1-C17 linear, branched, or cyclic monovalent hydrocarbon group which may have a double bond or a triple bond, and Z represents a C1-C17 linear, branched, or cyclic divalent hydrocarbon group which may have a double bond or a triple bond), with a chlorinating agent in the presence of a base in a solvent without using a metal salt for chlorinating the alcohol.
【課題】安価かつ立体選択的に共役二重結合を有するアルコールを塩素化し、共役二重結合を有する塩化炭化水素を製造する方法を提供する。【解決手段】下記一般式(1):RCH=CHCH=CH−Z−OH (1)(上式中、Rは、水素原子、又は二重結合もしくは三重結合を有しても良い炭素数1〜17の直鎖状、分岐鎖状又は環状の一価炭化水素基を示し、Zは、二重結合もしくは三重結合を有しても良い炭素数1〜17の直鎖状、分岐鎖状又は環状の二価炭化水素基を示す。)で示される共役二重結合を有するアルコールを、該アルコールの塩素化のための金属塩を用いることなく、溶媒中、塩基の存在下、塩素化剤により塩素化し、共役二重結合を有する塩化炭化水素を製造する方法を提供する。【選択図】なし |
