PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that printing medium is inflected in an opposite direction or conveying means is damaged because correction operation is always performed.SOLUTION: An image formation device includes: a posture sensor 61 for detecting posture of a tip 2a of a printing medium 2 fed from a protection belt 21 of a conveying section 103 toward an intermediate roller 31 of a sheet ejection section 104; and a posture control claw 51 for correcting the posture of the tip 2a. From a relationship between a sensor output of the posture sensor 61 and a predetermined allowable limit value, it is determined whether or not correction operation is necessary. Only when correction of tip posture of the printing medium 2 is necessary, the posture control claw 51 is moved to perform correction operation for correcting the posture of the tip 2a of the printing medium 2. 【課題】常時矯正動作を行っているために、逆方向に変曲したり、搬送手段が損傷したりする。【解決手段】搬送部１０２の保護ベルト２１から排紙部１０４の中間ローラ３１に向けて送り出される印刷媒体２の先端部２ａの姿勢を検出する姿勢センサ６１と、先端部２ａの姿勢を矯正する姿勢制御爪５１とを備え、姿勢センサ６１のセンサ出力と予め定めた共用限界値との関係から矯正動作が必要か否かを判別し、印刷媒体２の先端姿勢の矯正が必要であるときのみ姿勢制御爪５１を移動させて印刷媒体２の先端部２ａの姿勢を矯正する矯正動作を行う。【選択図】図６
