Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint enabling a pipe to be connected through one finger touch while keeping its sealing characteristic by an inner periphery seal structure even in the case that an outer circumference of the pipe has a certain scar, improving durability against a tension force caused by engagement at the time of insertion of the pipe, preventing the seal ring from being released or removed even if an insertion work of the pipe under its slant direction or its screwed state and repetitive insertion of the pipe are carried out, and further enabling a seal performance similar to that of the seal performed by an O-ring to be realized to prevent positively fluid from being leaked.SOLUTION: A pipe 10 to be connected that is inserted into a clearance 5 between an inner cylinder 2 and an outer cylinder 3 arranged at a joint main body 1 is connected by a lock member 11 under its locked state, an outer peripheral surface 31 of the inner cylinder 2 is provided with an outer peripheral groove 26 having a substantial rectangular section and then the pipe 10 is tight-connected by a seal ring 20 installed in the outer peripheral groove 26. The seal ring 20 is formed such that an annular base seat 30 having a substantial rectangular section installed at the outer peripheral groove 26 and an outer peripheral O-ring part 32 protruded out of an outer peripheral surface 31 at the outer periphery of the annular base seat 30 are integrally assembled to each other. |
