Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain substantial communication quality by transmitting a transfer signal of a stand-alone type residential fire alarm from an adapter by wireless LAN and guaranteeing the adapter of the battery life similar to that of the residential fire alarm.SOLUTION: Adapters 12-1 and 12-2 are connected, by a signal line connection, to residential fire alarms 10-1 and 10-2 that issue fire alarm when detecting a fire and output transfer signals. When a transfer signal output from the residential fire alarm 10-1 is received by the adapter 12-1, a packet-type transfer signal is transmitted to a personal computer 15 or a server 20 via an access point 14 by the wireless LAN. When no transfer signal is output from the residential fire alarm 10-1, the adapters 12-1 and 12-2 operate by a standby mode of a low power consumption and, when the transfer signal is output from the residential fire alarm 10-1 or 10-2, transfer to a wake-up mode, generate the packet-type transfer signal and transmit it by the wireless LAN.
