Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grouting method which achieves high permeability and is excellently used as a liquefaction countermeasure.SOLUTION: In a grouting method to perform permeation grouting in silty and/or sandy ground, a grouting material having a particulate silica concentration of not less than 0.1% and less than 5% and a particulate calcium hydroxide concentration of not less than 0.1% and less than 5% is injected into the ground with: injection pressure not more than 0.5 MPa; an injection rate of not more than 10 litter per minutes; and a pulsation rate of not more than 5%. An improved body constructed by the grouting method has a transverse elasticity modulus of 50 to 1,000 MN/m. Thus, the grouting method can be used as a liquefaction countermeasure.
