Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device that can prevent a recorded medium curled right after recording from interfering with a part of constitutive members of the recording device and store a suction unit and a wiping unit without enlarging the device.SOLUTION: The recording device comprises: a conveyance mechanism that supports and conveys a recorded medium by a support face thereof; a recording head that is arranged at a region opposing to the support face and can discharge ink to the recorded medium from a nozzle provided on an ink discharge face; a suction unit capable of suctioning the ink in the nozzle; and a wiping unit that is provided independently from the suction unit and can wipe the ink discharge face. At least either one of the suction unit and the wiping unit is provided closer to the downstream side in the conveying direction of the recorded medium than the recording head and the interval between the support face and the either one is wider than the interval between the ink discharge face and the support face. |
